Changes to Submissions on the Career Development Carnvial

We welcome career development experts and gurus to participate in the Career Development Carnival each month to expand your readership. To receive notifications, use the sign up form on the right hand side of the page titled:

Carnival Submitters: Receive Notices for Upcoming Carnivals

Notification emails will be sent to this list for the following actions:

  1. Blog submissions are being accepted (beginning the first of each month)
  2. The Career Development Carnival is posted to spread the word (the 3rd Thursday of each month)

Why do I need a Notification?

Each month, the Career Development Carnival rotates between Elephants at Work and Career Sherpa. Your monthly notification will inform you:

  1. Where to send your post information – link, author, topic and brief description
  2. The cut off date for submission – the Monday before the carnival
  3. If there is a special theme for the month

Carnival Submission Guidelines

As a reminder, there are a few guidelines that help us to maintain high quality posts for the readers. They are:

  1. One submission per person
  2. Recently published – date of post is in the same month/year of the carnival
  3. On topic

Submit Your Post to the Career Development Carnival

The Career Development Carnival for February is currently accepting posts on a variety of career development topics.

We accept posts on the following topics:

You can share the link to a post you write today through February 12th on the Carnival link collecting site. Your deadline is Monday, February 12th .

On February 16th, the Career Development Carnival will go-live with host Hannah Morgan on Career Sherpa!

Important reminders:

  1. Please submit a post you’ve written between Feb 1-12th. for consideration to the carnival link collecting site.
  2. Once the Carnival goes live please help promote it via twitter, your blog, or what have you.

Seeking Career Development Carnival Contributors

The launch of the new Career Development Carnival is on schedule. Our first issue will be featured at Elephants at Work on January 18th, 2012.

If you run a blog dedicated to helping others with their career development efforts or if you have information to share on a business or personal development blog, we welcome you to join us each month by submitting a current and relevant post. The details for the Career Development Carnival submissions can be found in our first post: Career Development Carnival – Welcome!

Each month, we will send out information to our mailing list and you can subscribe for Career Development Carnival updates here or through the link on the sidebar. The list members will receive the following communications:

  • At the beginning of the month, a reminder to submit your article to the upcoming Career Development Carnival.
  • Special instructions if we are running a theme or event for the month.
  • Notification that the Career Development Carnival has been published so that you can publicize or promote it in your blog or social networks.
